July's Member of the Month and Contributor Spots

1. Tell us about yourself...
Hi! My name is Jessica but I prefer to be called Jesse. I’m currently a 15 year old that feels like a 5 year old inside, living in New York City. I’m a very shy but friendly person. I absolutely love food, and I love to play the piano.

2. Who or what inspired you to start photography?
About 2 years ago, I’ve been browsing through deviantART, and I came across a photographer named Tricia Gosingtian, otherwise known as slumberdoll. She was one of the many photographers that inspired me.

3. Who are your favorite artist(s)?
I have to say, Yuumei has to be one of my favorite artists. The messages she tells us through her artwork leaves me in awe. I also love to see Hellobaby beautiful detailed works.

4. What is your favorite type of photography?
I love all types of photography, but the one that catches my attention the most has to be landscape and conceptual.

5. Is your photography a hobby or job?
Photography is currently my hobby.

6. What type of media or special techniques do you use?
Well I don’t have enough money for photoshop So I use online tools like pixlr. I really love bokeh so I use holographic paper quite often.

7. What do you enjoy most about photography?
I love being able to capture memories, beautiful objects, or concepts. Photography is a form of art that I use to show my personality and vent out my emotions.

8. What other special interests do you have other than creating art?
Playing the piano, making miniature polymer clay creations, and origami.

9. What is your passion or dream in life?
My passion is to help other people, travel to Japan and other places, and provide my family with a better life.

10. Look to your left, what do you see?
My puppy!
