BubbleCloud Interview

1. Tell us about yourself...
Hmm, I'm Olga from sunny Greece. I feel I have the sun under my skin, can't live without it and it defines me.. A single sun ray is enough to make me smile! :aww:
I love sea and how it's changing colors during the day or seasons, so inspiring!
I also love those tiny fluffy clouds and I envy them because they travel above us and watch all this beauty nature has!

2. Who or what inspired you to start photography?
I 'm not really sure, I've never thought about it...
I remember myself begging my parents to buy me a camera when I was about 8 or 9.
I think the inspiration had always been the need to capture the beauty around me,
or to capture the precious moments of my life, the people I love.

3. Who are your favorite artist(s)?
On DA, cetrobo 's gallery deserves a visit, specially his gravity project!
Orwald, a still life specialist, zardo - breathtaking architecture photography, realityDream - wonderful scape photography, and the greeks  Chris-Lamprianidis (people and scape photography), and StamatisGR (Street Photography).

4. What is your favorite type of photography?
A difficult question, as I am experimenting on all kinds at the moment.
I think still life is interesting, it's creative and sometimes funny! :excited:
If I had the equipment I'd love to try High Speed photography, but it's something I wont do for now.
I love shooting scapes for two reasons:
- because they 're never the same, it's magic how they change through the day, or how one can 'play'
with them using filters. Nature is alive and photography can tell that better than anyone.
- because it's the most relaxing thing ever! taking my camera, walking around, capturing the beauty, breathing nature.

5. Is your photography a hobby or job?
It's a hobby. I can't think of it as a job, but I want to go to a Photography School and learn more about it some day. :aww:

6. What type of media or special techniques do you use?
I bought my DSLR some months ago, didn't have one before (all my previous cameras were compact ones),
so I'm still trying to know her better..! :aww: (oh yes, it's a 'she'! :giggle:)
No special techniques at the moment, but I am planning to try Infrared, HDR and Smoke Photography soon.

7. What do you enjoy most about photography?
The ability to re-create the world around me, to interpret it the way *I* want,
the way *I* see it, to show *my* reality, the world through *my* eyes.

8. What other special interests do you have other than creating art?
Creating 3D art, haha. :aww:
(It's my second obsession, for the same reason, because it gives me the ability to re-create my world)
Hmm, I may write a poem if I'm angry or sad, I may grab some clay and make something funny.
I love cinema -  I watch movies like crazy, dancing , swimming. All interests are special, we express ourselves through them. ;)

9. What is your passion or dream in life?
Be a mermaid and live in the sea forever ...

OK, let's get serious. I have to move almost every year because of my job,
so what I really dream of is to get a transfer in my favourite city and finally be able to build my life there.
(otherwise the mermaid plan is still on! ;P)

10. Look to your left, what do you see?
A poster of the movie 'Dolls' by Takeshi Kitano.

:bulletpink:Favorite song:Depends on the mood, but here are some favorites:
Nocturne - Secret Garden, Marco Polo - Lorrena McKennit, If I could be where you are - Enya, Jefferson Airplane-  White Rabbit, Garry Moore - Empty Rooms, Cornflake girl - Tori Amos, Breaking the habbit - Placebo, Ulak - Evanhtia Reboutsika, the whole Amelie soundtrack by Yann Tiersen. Oh, they're so many! :faint:
:bulletgreen:Favorite book:Charlotte's web, a book I read when I was 8 and made me love spiders. :happycry:
:bulletyellow:Something you collect: Small things from my life, airport tickets, a button from my favourite jeans,
a helium balloon a boyfriend gave me, a dried white rose - also a gift, pebbles from a beach,
many many movie tickets, letters I received, a lighter. Moments and memories are very important for me.

Thank you BubbleCloud for sharing your wonderful photography with us! :huggle:
